The essay’s main topic should be cultural differences. Where and how it begin. what led to it and how we can stop it(Instead of judging one another people should learn about other perspective views)Pick a social phenomenon (group, behavior, belief system, ritual, social practice) that you would like to focus on your final paper. It can be anything that is interesting to you- the point of the paper is tot try to analyze your chosen topic with some of the anthropological readings we have covered in class. You must pick at least two (but no more than three) readings to analyze the social phenomenon of your choice. Examples: How would Marx conceptualize say the emergence of E-Sports and the commodification of games? How can we use Marshall Sahlins and Wengrow/Graeber to analyze the Amrican anti-vaccine movement and modern skepticism toward medical science? etc.
Irrespective of your chosen prompt, you must draw from at least two readings to write your essay.
You must use a citational method (e.g., MLA, APA, AAA, Chicago, etc.) of your choice and you must follow academic guidelines for citing your sources. Improperly formatted papers will be marked down. Your paper must contain a works cited page at the end of your essay.
