This journal is intended for you to explore your understanding of sustainable development goals (SDGs). You will select one SDG to analyze in depth and consider the challenges associated with achieving that goal.
For your journal submission, review the Sustainable Development Goals website (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/) and select an SDG to discuss that is related to population health. Then, address the following:
• What are the targets and indicators of the SDG you have selected? How are they measured? • What might be challenging about trying to achieve this goal?
• What is one thing that will be needed to ensure the goal is reached? Think culturally, financially, and politically.
• What type of health system structuring might be needed to achieve the goal? Be sure to consider what you learned about health systems in your readings from Global Health: Diseases, Programs, Systems, and Policies.
