The following assignment will ask you to do additional research on one of the main ancient Mexican civilizations.
MAKE SURE THE ASSIGNMENT IS DONE WITH TIMES NEW ROMAN AND FONT SIZE 12
STEP 1 Choose one of the following civilizations: Olmeca, Maya, Teotihuacan, Azteca
STEP 2 Choose at least two of the following topics: religion, food, music/dance, or another part of their culture and society (sports, fashion, gender roles, etc…)
STEP 3 Write a 1-2 page paper detailing how the ancient Mexicans lived. Can include images from the internet.

You can use information from Canvas, the textbook, and online. Make sure to cite any information used in the paper (MLA or footnotes). Paper can be submitted as text entry or file upload (pdf, doc, docx).
Late assignments are accepted but will be deducted 5 points.
RUBRIC
18-20 points: Well researched, written, and detailed paper, with little to no grammar errors
16-17 points: Missing some elements (not enough details/examples), with noticeable grammar errors.
14-15 points: Does not meet the requirements of the assignment (too short, no research), high Turnitin score, grammar errors evident.
