Assignment: Write a 10-12 page paper analyzing the literature. Perform a literature search and review at least 18 articles on the topic. Articles should be research studies analyzing the effectiveness of the strategy or model (peer reviewed only). The paper should describe the articles reviewed and summarize the research outcomes for the topic chosen, but synthesize all information (this is not an annotated bibliography). Each paper should address overall effectiveness of the strategy, staff training issues cited in the literature, and the populations for whom the research was conducted. Specific information should be included on the results of maintenance and sustaining the effects of the intervention. Identify the type of student for whom the research showed the strategies to be most effective and draw conclusions about the utility of the model for larger populations.

5 points if: Identified and described the model reviewed clearly and concisely.
5 points if: Showed evidence of having reviewed at least 15 articles on the topic and included information from each article in the summary. Articles are listed with appropriate citations in the reference section of the paper. Appropriately attributed the information of each student to the appropriate authors.
10 points if: Adequately described the overall effectiveness of the strategy, staff training issues, and populations as well as generalization and maintenance characteristics of each model and implications for broader applications.
5 points if: Followed APA format and writing was clear and coherent in presentation. Grammar, spelling, and punctuation must meet graduate level standards.
