What is one issue that you would consider an “educational divide”? Write a short reflective paper (250 words max) on this issue addressing the following:
1. What is the issue?
2. Why do you consider it to represent an educational divide?
3. What evidence supports your contention that this issue represents an educational divide?
4. What might Paulo Freire say about the issue or our responsibility to address it? Using a quote from the 10 page section provided in Lesson 2 (but not one that has been provided to you in the discussion forum!) will certainly strengthen your response!
Please ensure that you check your spelling and grammar before submitting. Critically considering multiple sources of evidence is always welcomed (and properly citing and referencing these sources). Always examine the course rubric to ensure you are addressing each of the criteria areas. The paper should be in essay style (not using bullets or abbreviated sentences).
