The first part of the assignment is an APA formatted reference page of ONLY your 4 main articles
The final part of the assignment is a tri-fold brochure (see below) plus a separate APA formatted reference page for ALL references used for the brochure.
Your Research
You will conduct academic research to gather the following information. The research will be summarized and organized in a well thought out and put together on a double-sided, single page, trifold-style brochure geared towards medical professionals who may not know about the disease.
Descriptions of the disease including the pathophysiology.
Define and explain the manifestations of the disease using pathology terminology.
How it is diagnosed.
Additional information available such at treatment options, potential outcomes, sequelae, etc.
Your research will come from a minimum of 6 sources:
Information will come from a MINIMUM 4 OF REASEARCH JOURNAL ARTICLES (2017 or newer)
Scientific, peer-reviewed journals
For the other 2+ sources, you can use more research articles, books, non-research journal articles, and websites with professional content such as:
Department of Labor
Professional association website
Websites for specific diseases or conditions
National Institutes of Health or other government websites
References are submitted as a separate document.
