• Based on your research from the Diversity Data Research in
this week’s Content Connections:
• Identify and describe an underserved population that you
would like to focus on for your final project.
• Provide credible evidence that this population has been
underserved at the national and state levels as well as in your
school. Cite and explain at least two peer-reviewed outside
resources to serve as evidence.
• Reflect on professional experiences and observations that
support your rationale for selecting this population.
• Develop a presentation making the case for why there should
be a plan to address the needs of this particular group of
students.
* Present your case as though you are presenting to a
panel of members from your school community.
* Present the needs at the national, state, and school
levels.

Important Note: In Module 4 you will be expected to prepare a rough
draft of your presentation. You are encouraged to share your draft
presentation with a peer at your school Be sure to review the Final
Course Assignment – Making the Case, Part II Putting it All Together
requirements and plan your time accordingly. Check the course
calendar and confirm with your colleague at school regarding the
dates that you will need to receive their feedback on your project
components.
