1. Choose two of the following levels of lactation support: Peer counselor, Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Lactation Educator, or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
2. Compare and contrast these two levels of support in regard to their scope of practice, educational and/or practice requirements needed for certification, and roles and responsibilities related to supporting breastfeeding.
3. Locate and discuss one research article related to one of these levels of support. Discuss the findings of the study as it relates to the practice of this level of support.
