Commission.
The structure of your paper should contain the following elements:

! Legal context, which includes a concise and clear explanation of the applicable European
legislation and settled case-law of the European courts;
! A clear statement of the legal questions and sub-questions that have to be answered;
! A well-established answer to the questions posed;
! A conclusion;
! A discussion of academic debate/discourse that is vital for understanding the
relevance of and answers to the questions addressed, i.e. a theoretical framework of analysis
that draws on legal theory or legal debate on the issue(s) covered in the selected case.
The overall argumentation of the paper should meet the following requirements:
! It has to be convincing from a legal point of view;
! It has to be accurate;
! It has to be well structured;
! It has to include a succinct and clear and conclusion. Please remember not to use footnotes in
the concluding section of the paper.
