Identify the gaps between scholar and practitioner and your strategies to close the gap.

Write on an area of interest to you
that has a gap between scholar practitioners when it comes to
research in the area. In order to truly determine the gap, search both
trade publications and scholarly journal articles on your topic.

In your paper, address the following:
Academician/scholarly approach to your area of interest
Practitioner approach to your area of
interest.
Use a theory to address your area of interest
Propose a scholar-practitioner model to address your area of
interest, e.g., use an article that provides a model most closely
associated with your proposed model.
Identify the gaps between scholar and practitioner and your
strategies to close the gap

In your conclusion, state whether or not you believe what you
propose is generalizable (can be used) in like business
organizations,
industry, sector, etc.

Other writing guidelines:
Add a title page and reference page which are not part of the
total 5-8 page count
Must be double-spaced with 1-inch margins and typed in
12-point Times New Roman
Paper should be proofread for spelling and grammar. Use between 5-8 references (e.g., at least 4 should be from the
TUW library trade publications and scholarly references). Cite all texts used including page numbers as applicable to

avoid plagiarism. Use APA style format. Your paper must have a thesis statement, conclusion
and be
supported by relevant background readings/material.
Note: Write your paper in an integrated fashion, weaving theory and
application. In other words, do not merely respond to each bullet
above as a checklist.
