Instructions: The only sources allowable for this paper topic are Dale Jacquettes article assigned in this course and my notes on Jacquette. At the same time, I have to evaluate whether you understand Jacquettes argument, so please do not quote or merely paraphrase my notes on Jacquette. Suggested length: 2 single-spaced pages in 14-point font. The essay must have a clearly stated thesis in the first paragraph and present arguments for the thesis in the succeeding paragraphs of the paper. I accept footnotes, endnotes, or APA with references in parentheses in the body of the essay, for example, (Jones 2009, p. 123), and bibliography at end of paper. The latter is consistent with APA style, while former coheres with MLA style formatting. I accept either APA or MLA formatting style. Make sure you properly document all of your quotations and paraphrases. All extra-credit essays must be emailed to me
