Your mission: You will demonstrate your progress towards attaining the course objectives outlined in the syllabus by assembling a portfolio of polished versions of your projects for the first three modules. This portfolio will be capped off by a statement about your research project.
The Portfolio Statement: You will write a 1-2 page (250-500 word) statement that summarizes what you learned from researching your topic, how what you learned changed your perspectives on the topic, and what conclusions you have drawn as a result of engaging in this process. The portfolio statement should take the form of the genre you selected during the Module 4 Genre Analysis Activity: a letter, a speech/address, a first-person account, or a declaration/manifesto. You must cite any sources mentioned in your statement.
You will post a rough draft of the portfolio statement to the Module 4 Project Peer Review discussion topic. You will read and respond to at least one other student’s portfolio statement, and you will use the feedback received from your classmates to help you revise your portfolio statement into its final form.
The Term Portfolio: You will assemble a single document that is formatted in MLA manuscript style. This document will be given an original, descriptive title (do NOT title it “Term Portfolio”). It will be broken into five sections. You should label the five sections as follows:

Works Cited (this page includes the bibliographic information of ALL sources cited in the first four parts of the portfolio, to include all ten sources from the annotated bibliography minus the annotations, the source of your image if it was found rather than created, citations for any original research you conducted for this project such as polls or interviews, and any other sources you may have quoted, paraphrased, or summarized in any part of this project. You will have only one works cited page on the final page of the portfolio. Do not include separate works cited for parts I, III, or IV).
