Each of you will write a 500-800 word analysis in which you answer the following questions:
What is your favorite book and why?
Offer an analysis of characters, storyline, and imagery that speaks to you.
What makes a good story? Or, rather…What makes a story good?
What are the ways in which writing can impact readers through narrative?
What are your goals as a writer? How does the work you chose inspire you to write? From plays and short stories to books, both fiction and non-fiction, choose a work that is meaningful for you. Make an argument about why said work is so compelling and support your work with analysis.
