Write a compare and contrast essay about 2
of the 3 Abrahamic religions: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.
The essay should be typed. It should
consist of 5 paragraphs and each paragraph should have at least 5 sentences in
it.
Use at least 2 reliable sources. Cite
appropriately within your paper. If you have questions about how to cite a
source, please ask for assistance.
When writing the essay, try and narrow the
focus. Do not compare and contrast the whole of one religion to the other.
Here are some ideas…You could focus on the
history/beginning of the religion—all from Abraham but they differ with
Abraham’s sacrifice of his son Isaac vs Ishmael; the
celebrations/holidays—Passover in Judaism is the Last Supper in Christianity;
the beliefs—they all believe in the same God, but differ in the belief of Jesus;
how are they portrayed in today’s media…
