director. You have also worked on an educational
philosophy, including your view on ethics and professionalism.
In this Assignment,
you will add to this knowledge by exploring the Family Engagement and
NAEYC Advocacy resources. Explore each resource, looking at information
related to Advocacy, Leadership, Professional
Development, Programs and Resources, and News.
Based on your learning and your field experience, and using the Unit
7 Assignment Template, you will create a PowerPoint® presentation for use with families, acting as a director of a preschool. In this presentation, you will
cover the following:
Your educational philosophy
How your field experience contributed to your philosophy and practice
Explain how you will be an advocate for early childhood education
Three classroom practices families would see in your program that reflect quality
Opportunities for family involvement
A TOTAL OF 5 SLIDES WILL BE NEEDED, NOT INCLUDING THE TITLE AND REFERENCE PAGE.
