The literature is attached below. Must use two examples from texts with no external sources. This is a response paper.

Requirements:
Thesis, Analysis, and Organization
Write an introduction that announces the name of the story/author you’ve chosen and provides a specific thesis statement that describes the aspect of the story you’ll be discussing, and how it is relevant to the present.
In your body paragraphs, elaborate on your thesis, connecting one or more specific aspects of the story with personal experience, a current event, and/or a global issue. (A useful brainstorming exercise here may be to think in terms of dichotomies, like war and peace, love and hate, wisdom and ignorance, etc.- where do you see these conflicts in a text, and how might they connect to a current event?) Remember, the focus of this paper is to draw meaningful connections between characters, plot, or theme to some type of current or recent event in our time.
Along the way, support your points using one or two quoted passages (brief) from the literary work, formatted in MLA Style. Do not include any information or analysis from outside sources in this paper; use your own interpretations only. Plagiarism will result in a grade of zero for this assignment.
MLA Style
Your paper must be formatted according to MLA style (this includes having a four-line heading on page one, double spacing [2.0 line spacing] throughout the document, Times New Roman font, 12-pt. type, one-inch margins, etc.)
Use correct MLA in-text documentation as needed.
You must include a Works Cited page at the end of your paper. Remember, even if you do not include research, you should still have an entry for the literary about which you write.

Grammar/Mechanics
