This assignment provides an opportunity to learn about working with justice involved populations from the perspective of different stakeholders. The student will be required to interview one current or formerly justice involved person and one current service provider. As part of this assignment, you will be practicing your assessment and engagement skills. We are not providing you with a prepared list of questions. In order to explore each of the areas identified below, you will need to develop your own questions and probes. Assignment is due 2/14/22 by 11:59 pm EST. 5 pages max.
Identify the people that you interview.
Justice Involved Persons: Use first name only. Provide a brief description of their justice system involvement past and present.
Service Providers: Identify the individual, their credentials/educational background and the organization with which they are affiliated. Briefly describe the organization (i.e., types of services provided; populations of focus). Provide a brief description of their experience with service provision to justice involved persons.
In each area identified below, provide information from the perspective of the justice involved person as well as the service provider.

Critically integrate and reflect on the information from each of your sources.
What are the implications for social work practice with justice involved populations? Use empirical literature to support your assessment (2 to 5 sources are minimally sufficient).
Make sure to identify and address any factors related to systematic bias.
Also, identify who you interviewed, a summary of the information you were provided, and what findings you have.
