What advise would you give to the client as to how to proceed with the charge and why?

Scenario
John Doe was involved in a motor vehicle collision on January 1, 2019, at 12:35 am.
He comes to you to represent him on the charge.
You conduct a client interview and obtain his personal information including his date of birth etc., the
circumstances of the incident and how ended up being charged.
You examine offence notice that he has not yet taken to the court to request either a trial or Early
Resolution Meeting.
1. Is the offence notice proper? If not, why not?
2. Is the certificate of offence complete and regular on its face? If not, why not?
3. What advise would you give to the client as to how to proceed with the charge and why?
