This is a Source Review assignment. How you ever read products reviews on Amazon? This is my major writing assignment in this course, you are going to writie your own review, but instead of reviewing a product, you are going to review an article, book, documentary, or other type of source. I need you to select ONE (REALLY GREAT) SOURCE TO REVIEW. For this assignment, you will need to find a relevant source for your topic. To complete your review, aim to write a strong, well-planned essay that reviews the source on the following range of criteria:

ethos (often linked to credibility)
pathos
logos
usefulness
purpose
relevance to your research project
*you must include at least one paragraph that critically evaluates the source’s author on the basis of his or her credibility. You must use specific quotes and paraphrases from the source to support your points. The purpose of this assignments is to focus on a critical , thoughtful review of the source. Consider the way the author of the source presents the information and evaluate the source for credibility, usefulness, relevance, ethos, pathos, logos, etc.
Your thesis statement should reflect whether or not the source is effective based on an evaluation of the criteria listed above. For example, is the source effective because it provides much logical appeal (logos) in the form of facts and statistics? Or does the strength come from the authors credentials and background or extensive experience with the topic?
In addition to a strong thesis statement, your review should include an engaging introduction, several well-developed body paragraphs that support the thesis, and a powerful conclusion that reiterates your main ideas.
