Final Paper
In the final paper and presentation students will be required to research emergency management practices throughout a region or country they select. After researching the current emergency management practices, students will be required to produce a 10-12 page paper containing their findings. They will also need to include recommendations on how the collaborative efforts of the country or regions selected could be enhanced. The goal of this project is for students to utilize concepts and practices covered in the course to make suggestions on how to improve mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery efforts for the country/region selected.
Your final paper must demonstrate both breadth and depth of knowledge and critical thinking appropriate to graduate-level scholarship. It must follow APA Publication Manualguidelines and be free of typographical, spelling and grammatical errors. The paper should be 10-12 pages in length (double-spaced), not including the title page and references. The paper should include a minimum of 6 scholarly articles published in the last 7 years.
