1) Compare and Contrast patriarchy in the English and Spanish Colonies (500 words minimum) and the impact on women in the area of social/cultural position and legal rights.
2) Assess and critically analyze African and Native women’s survival within and resistance to patriarchy in the Spanish colonies – your discussion may include conversations revolving around “3rd and 4th” gender spaces in the context of Native Cultures. (500 words minimum)
