* Buzzfeed has hired your research team to study whether citizens think their website is
considered a trustworthy news source. They are giving you a generous budget and a great degree of freedom, as long as you are conducting research in the area of trustworthiness of Buzzfeed.
Include at least 4 academic sources in the assignment.

1. Choose two concepts that you would be interested in researching. One of your concepts can
be media trust or a concept associated with media trust. Briefly describe the two concepts
with references from readings and additional research.
2. What research question/s are you interested in analyzing? Think about the relationship
between the two concepts
3. What research method would you choose? (Choose from surveys, experiments, interviews or
focus groups. For this assignment, DO NOT choose content analysis or ethnography).
4. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of the research method you chose.
5. Who would you sample and why? (be specific about the number and type of people you
would sample)
6. Given your research question, write some questions that you would use in your research
project. Make sure that your questions measure the main concepts you identified and are
useful for the research questions that you are interested in.
 If you have a survey: include at least 10 questions, with answer choices if closed-ended
 If you have an experiment: explain your stimulus plus include at least 7 questions, with
answer choices if closed-ended
 If you have a focus group or interview: at least 15 questions
