This is for illustration, as you will develop one for your organization (does not have to be a police organization) based on the hours worked, number of shifts and personnel required to properly staff the workload.
Based on this reading provide an analysis of your organization to determine if your organization is properly staffed, overstaffed or understaffed. Provide the metrics you utilize, the data you obtained and how you arrived at the proper number of staffing.
Then prepare a PowerPoint presentation to present your findings to the head of your organization and your recommendations on how to achieve the correct level of staffing. If you are properly staffed then discuss the forecasted needs for the next 5 years for your organization. If you are overstaffed then discuss how you can achieve the correct level of staffing and your forecasted timeline to achieve it. Lastly if you are understaffed present your recommendations on how to achieve a proper level of staffing and your projected timeline to achieve it.
