2. Type 1-2 pages based on the following outline:
o Source: Share article title and newspaper title.
o Summary: Include a few sentences summarizing the main
points, ideas or events as they relate to community health.
o Personal Reaction: Discuss your personal reaction to the article, why you
selected this article (i.e., why it’s relevant to you), the newsworthiness of the
topic, and the explanation of importance/lack of importance of this community
health issue.
o Community Health Implications: State the community health implications of
the issue, what will happen if this issue is not addressed, how it’s currently being
addressed (if it is), what future course of action was suggested, and what
can/should be done to improve the condition?
