When looking at an organization that aims to serve people with developmental disabilities to help them reach the highest level of independence through residential care, group homes, and workshops, client problem is a departmentalization style that may work in the scenario. Staff members will have to specialize in offering various services since there is an array of developmental disabilities. Even though there are an array of developmental disabilities that have their own set of symptoms and signs, it is a single diagnostic category. Also, multidisciplinary teams could work as a form of departmentation. Since the organization will be utilizing residential care, group homes, and workshops, staff members of different professional backgrounds could be beneficial.
