This course offers practical ways to make knowledgeable business decisions. Business Analytics helps organizations execute strategic decisions by using various data collecting methods. This course provides valuable business intelligence and business analysis professionals useful strategies that help organizations operate more efficiently. Throughout this course, I acquired insight into the different data collecting methods. Business Intelligence and Analytics knowledge are vital in today’s marketplace globally. Large organizations hire professionals who can provide solutions and communicate effectively. This course offers various data collecting methods that allow solutions to an Organization’s productivity. The skills acquired are critical tools and can be applied to decision-making both personally and professionally.

I have a few classmates who exhibit solid friendship by consistently demonstrating the characteristics of a good servant. We all respect one another’s boundaries. I believe that we all understand that every one of us has a story. Our past has empowered us and has provided us with a unique power. Therefore, it is crucial to find people of good character whose behavior patterns that stay consistent. (april
I must say, this class has expanded my thought process. I remember feeling so lost in week 1. I knew giving up is not an option, but learning about data preparation, to learning about different models. I just felt overwhelmed, and I appreciated the additional assistance offered to ensure each student’s success. I liked the fact that this course challenged us, but this course was a needed tool in understanding business analytics in the same way.
During this class, Dr. Ballesteros has demonstrated stewardship, with reminders to ensure each student’s success. She meets with the class weekly to go over the course material to ensure we understand the graphs. There are a few other students who also display stewardship by providing other classmates are understanding the material.
I look forward to continuing to learn about Business Intelligence and Analytics.(jody
This course has taught me a better understanding of data and how it is found. Overall, my general understanding of graphs has increased. Knowing and understanding business analytics can help in any position from retail to help drive sales and beat a sales plan for the day or a project manager to help predict sales. I am grateful to all the classmates I met in my first term here at Hallmark because I can rely on them for assistance; they all have a servant attitude. Taylor Ann Ring was in this course previously, and she was my go-to when I felt overwhelmed; she has a servant attitude. Luckily, my encounters with most of my classmates all provide me with relief, especially my group from my HR management course. Those classmates had servant attitudes through having respect for each other’s time and I am happy to have worked with them. Working with the students I began school with is encouraging because we started together and we will all hopefully finish together. Working with new classmates is always fun because I enjoy meeting new people, it allows me to step out of my comfort zone.(katelyn
