Pick one of the changes and unexpected developments from Chapter 1 of The Gift of Fire. First, briefly explain what the change is and how you think it will affect society in ten years. Second, analyze the ethical implications of this change using one of the ethical theories (Utilitarianism, Kantian ethics, or virtue ethics). Third, analyze the change using a second ethical theory. (UPDATE: If you prefer to analyze the ethical scenario using one theory, that’s fine too).
