Chapter 2 Prompts – Answer ALL of the following three prompts:
1. Describe one federal agency that is directly involved in regulating the HRT setting you are most interested in (for instance a hotel, restaurant, tourism agency, municipal recreation program, youth day camp, etc.). Discuss specific actions required by managers to comply with agency requirements.

3. Mr. Flood had a hotel reservation. He arrived to the hotel late as a result of mechanical difficulties with his flight. His room was not held after he missed the check-in time. Describe the steps he could have taken to avoid this difficulty, the responsibility of the hotel in this type of situation, and if the Federal Aviation Administration should be held responsible for resolving the problem (for more details, refer to Analyze the Situation 2.4).
