For Lesson 3, you need at least one paragraph for American Slavery lecture and TWO separate paragraphs for the Pocahontas readings. The Pocahontas comments need to include comments on the primary source documents and the images of Pocahontas. Identify the source you are commenting on and what type of source it is; a letter or pictures etc.

For example, after reading the lecture on Slavery discuss Which factors, Economic, results of Bacon’s Rebellion or Cultural issues best explains why the majority of slaves in North America were African by 1700? Did slavery in North America lead to racism or did racism lead to the exclusive enslavement of Africans?(Paragraph 1) I realize all the factors discussed are important but for the sake of Discussion and argument, select one factor that you think best explains slavery in southern colonies.
