are often more interested in delivering a message than receiving one. For this
assignment, you will test this hypothesis and report your findings.
• Monitor your interactions this week with friends, family and colleagues.
• As you observe interactions with friends, family and colleagues, consider the
following:
o What happens when you have a disagreement with someone in a tense or
stressful situation?
o Why did your voice raise in volume and pitch?
o Why did your words hasten?
