The role I am applying for:
We are looking for a program manager who will manage key strategic programs under the Southeast Asia Growth team. This team has been mandated to help deliver our ambition of being the top bank in Southeast Asia for Entrepreneurs, Tech founders and Family Offices. Key aspects of the role:
Conduct market research to review and understand trends in the tech ecosystem and in the Family Office space- understand needs of potential clients and key competitor offering
Support projects to enhance the value proposition of the program based on needs of entrepreneurs/ tech firms and partners
Drive the program’s publicity and engagement channels, including website, video dialogues, mailers and internal/ external communications
Manage aggregating reporting on One Bank revenues at client segment and at individual client level
Track and maintain records of key clients and prospects who need to be covered, help ensure proper coverage across One Bank to meet client needs
Develop and execute communications programs to gain mindshare for UBS as the top bank for Entrepreneurs, tech founders and Family Offices
Manage overall program budget
Help ensure that the program’s initiatives are risk managed and in line with bank risk and compliance policies

3) Even though i do not have any banking industry, but my experience within the start-up community, as well as corporate doing project implementation, will give them fresh insights.
4) Market research: Surveys, focus groups, personal interviews, observations and field trials have exposure during my masters program.
5) Strong communicator, stakeholder management, ability to work in agile (especially in start up environment experience)
6) Strong network in SEA especially within the start-up community, accesiblity for further market research beyond my own experience as a technopreneur.
