Submit the title of a book in academic philosophy, cultural anthropology, cultural studies, or, the study of literature/film. Books are only eligible if they are published by a major univ press; not a commercial publisher.
Submit a proposal (email me via this thread), informing me of book’s title and how you came across it.
Receive approval to read and review book.
Write an essay, reviewing the book and its significance for (a) its audience and (b) the study of humanities.
The essay will be graded and award points based on quality (writing effectiveness, critical thinking, familiarity with humanities scholarship and themes, and relevance to academic humanities).
