Up until now the text has explored internal psychological issues and their impact on our physical well-being, but now in chapters 7 & 8 we have expanded our viewpoint to include interactions with others and how we communicate. John Donne is oft quoted as having written “no man is an island.” With that perspective in mind, in this week’s discussion explore what you believe to be the most important psychological benefits of humans being social creatures and the importance of communication in our lives. Please cite at least one research study outside of the text book that supports your position.
