Option B: Watch any of the following movies:
My Big Fat Greek Wedding

Use the family depicted in the movie you select as the basis for completing the assignment. You may find these movies on Amazon or NetFlix, or other movie sites.
Describe the family, either a family to interview or a family in one of the above movies, to do your family cultural assessment. Using the two assessment forms below, describe the family using the rubric as your guide including environment, background history, family developmental stage and tasks, family structure and function of family, and healthcare beliefs and practices as outlined in the rubric. If you choose a movie, the family or families in the movie provide you with a family in which to do your assessment on. This is not a biography or a review of the movie and points will be lost if the paper represents this.
Describe applicable cultural elements outlined in:
Giger and Davishizar’s Transcultural Assessment Model page 8-10 and,
Friedman Family Assessment Tool Download Friedman Family Assessment Tool.
It is very important you integrate both the above assessment models with this assignment! Note: Not all of the data on the assessment tools will apply to some of the families in the movie. If the rubric requires this assessment, report in your paper that it was not covered or unknown, but acknowledge the fact.
The developmental stage and tasks of the family are required. This will have to be resourced. Hint: Duval Family Developmental Stages is one that is good.
Do not use the real names of the family; you may use a fictitious name, do NOT include addresses or phone numbers.
