Write a reaction paper based upon the reading. The essay should be approximately 300 words. Your essay should be double spaced.
The assignment is intended to encourage students to think critically about the arguments presented in the reading. In a short paper. I expect you to synthesize and respond to ideas presented in the reading and integrate concepts and themes from class in their responses. You are expected to critique the arguments in the reading- not to simply report them.

What kinds of evidence do the authors use to support their central arguments/claims? How do the authors use evidence to support his/her argument? (Use specific examples – but not direct quotes – from the reading to support your explanation).
What is your critical analysis/evaluation the authors’ claims and evidence? (Note: this is not about whether or not you liked/disliked or agreed/disagreed with the text). Avoid “style” based critiques such as “the article was well written” or “the author used too much jargon.”
Reflect on the text, you may draw connections between the argument and your own life/the real world and other concepts/topics from class.
