Essay instructions: The project will specifically focus on youth who have or are at risk of adverse childhood experiences, involvement in and/or exposure to violence, abuse, trauma, juvenile justice, or substance use/abuse, and youth with mental, behavioral, and developmental disabilities and conditions to address the needs of these individuals. Please submit a 1-2 page statement demonstrating your prior experience working with youth at risk, how you plan to contribute to the field of youth at risk after graduation and what you hope to gain from participating in an interprofessional educational and fieldwork experience with occupational therapy and clinical mental health counseling students.
