Policy Evaluation Benchmark Assignment
This is the benchmark assignment. You are required to write an 8 page paper
(not including title page, abstract, and references). Paper will apply the course principles by
evaluating educational policy at the federal, state, and local levels. You will synthesize the
various elements covered in the course and textbook readings. Paper should demonstrate an
understanding of how educational policy effects the K–12 classroom. You may address any of
the current issues discussed in the course, or any topics in the text.
Your paper should be written in current APA format. Cite at least 5 scholarly sources. Your
sources must be no more than 5 years old. Use a biblical worldview and include Scripture
references.
