Write a paper comparing and contrasting 2 Super Bowl Ads (and only 2). You can look up “Super Bowl Ads 2022” on YouTube if you don’t have a way of watching the event. Decide which of the two ads you chose was the most successful and analyze this, exploring WHY this ad you chose as the most successful was indeed the most successful. Why did the other ad you chose fall short?
You MUST assess these 2 ads using your knowledge of ethos, pathos, and logos. Did each ad use all three? Did they use them effectively? Why or why not?
This essay should be phrased professionally. Pretend you are writing an article in a newspaper critiquing these ads in a respectful manner. The questions below will help you.

What was each ad trying to make you feel? Did it succeed?
What was each ad trying to make you think (or think about)? Did it succeed?
How did the ad look? What about the people within the ad? Were they attractive, rugged, innocent, etc. (how were they portrayed and why?)?
Did all the various parts of the ad (the actors, the costuming, setting, etc.) come together well to make a cohesive whole?
How would you change these ads to make them more effective?
