Short Paper 3

For this short-paper assignment, you will need to trace the route a novel would take from its conception in the imagination of an author and all the way to its release to book-buying audiences. Based on the recorded lecture you watched, imagine that you are an author who has just written a first novel and explain the various parties you will deal with to see your book to publication, what those parties will do to your book, and what you will also need to do once the book is released.
Discuss this in a 1 to 2 page paper, but make sure you are concentrating on incorporating as much clear detail as you can in the paper. You will not be penalized for writing too much, but make sure the paper is no less than 1 page.
As with the other papers, write it in Times New Roman 12-point font with one-inch margins, double spaced. Do not leave any extra spaces between paragraphs.
E-mail me your papers by midnight, Friday, February 18. Also make sure that you send me your papers either in an attached Word document or as a shared document instead of a PDF file so I can write comments and feeback on the file.
