Demanding divestment: University students across Canada are frustrated by the slow pace of halting dangerous climate change, and they are wielding their power to do something about it.

You will write a complete critique essay with introduction, critical response to the source, conclusion, and reference section. You will also review how to cite sources, and learn how to contextualize source evidence. The source will be a current argument (e.g. opinion piece, editorial) or a narrative (e.g. short story) from the mainstream press. With this project, you are learning more about how to listen deeply to a source on its own terms, and respond to it with your own critical insights and questions.
