Blog Assignment: Jobs/Roles in the ECE Community: Internationally
Throughout this course, the Blog Assignments have taken you to local, state, and national early childhood organizations, agencies, and communities of practice. These explorations have been designed to help you imagine yourself in a variety of jobs that foster the well-being of children, families, and the early childhood field. This week, you will explore the international community of early childhood. Use this opportunity to inspire your thinking not only about places you might like to work, but also roles you might like to take on anywhere in the world, now and in the future. Again, be sure to take time to read the missions of each organization, agency, and community of practice, immerse yourself in the work that they do, and look for employment opportunities that are currently available and/or the kinds of skills and experience workers in each need to have to be viable contributors.
