Journal Article Critique Over Self-Directed Learning

You will analyze and critique a peer reviewed journal article from a professional journal. The
article must address the topic of discussion. You must select an article that is less than five years
old. Your article critique must include the following:
 A summary of the author’s position
 An analysis of the author’s key points and the extent to which it is backed up
 Application of the article in the classroom
 Implications to teaching
The assignments must reflect current APA formatting and should include a title page, and
reference page. Each journal article critique must be 3-4 pages in length, not including the title
page and reference page.
