Learners will write a short paper (i.e., up to 10-page double-spaced paper) that compares and contrasts frameworks that are increasingly being used to inform early childhood policy. After comparing and contrasting the frameworks, learners identify concepts, constructs, or principles from these frameworks for inclusion in future early childhood policy that would be appropriate based on evidence, wisdom, and values; promote equity and cultural relevance; and support alignment across different statutes and policies.
