Topic/Question : “Does cryptocurrency show as much financial success as it’s advertised?”
Attached is a screenshot of search terms to utilize when searching online.
Go to social media and use search terms or hashtags that relate to the terms above and see what comes up. Twitter is likely a good place to find academics and experts. At the top of twitter after you search there are five different choices: “Top” “Latest” “People” “Photos” “Videos”. Go to “People” look at their descriptions and see if the descriptions are interesting/relevant. If they aren’t, try some different search terms. If they click through to their profile page and see what they are tweeting about and see the link to a website that they provide.
You might also find links to organizational twitter accounts which is sufficient too. Finding institutions that are relevant to the subject should be included.
Document what you find and create a list labelled “Social Media”. Be sure to record the links in the list as well. A list for the twitter handle, one for the name, and a link to the account is ideal. Include recent tweets that link to potentially relevant information (this can just be posted as a separate list of links).
Finally pick 3 people and 3 institutions that you found and summarize who they are and what you learned about them from twitter by looking at their tweets and going to the site they link to on the site.
You can do this either in narrative form OR in an organized way in a spreadsheet.
