The Why: Describe the foreground and background factors of the four main participants in the criminal case (the offender, the victim, the justice system, and society)
Section 2 (15 points): Analyze the case by describing factors for each of the theory categories below:
Biological: It’s what we are
Biosocial: It’s how and who we interact with
Psychological & Psychiatric: It’s how we think
Social Structure: It’s where and how we live
Social Process and Social Development: It’s what we learn
Social Conflict: It’s how we relate
Section 3 (5 points): Act as a criminologist
What type of research or study would you want to do to understand more about this type of crime, this specific case, or how the system reacted to/handled this case. Describe how this research or study could be conducted and what the results could do, impact, or change.
