Primary Proposal:
The attached and below articles have sparked my interest in communication issues within universities. My proposed final paper would focus on universities having issues keeping up with changes in communication needs. The overarching issue is responding and adapting to change and demand signals related to communication. For example, we face challenges due to technology, COVID-19 restriction, internal organizational policies, curriculum, diversity, and teaching effective communication skills. My final paper will also allow recommendations on addressing communication issues with multiple stakeholders such as staff, teachers, students, government entities, and businesses or organizations. In summary, how universities address communication issues and skills will eventually affect other the productivity of organizations/businesses.

Alternate Proposal:
Since I am in real estate, my alternate proposal is to resolve a communication issue related to conflict resolution. In short, I see a need for real estate agents to learn effective communication that fosters conflict resolution. I encounter this issue almost daily, affecting the agents, local organizations, buyers, sellers, brokers, and corporate image. In my experience and based on research, real estate agents need to be better equipped with specific communication skills to close mutually beneficial deals. A lesson learned in communication and business is that we don’t have to do or say something just because we can. Even if it is factually correct, it is more important how we communicate the message to support the most positive results.
Guidelines:
The Final Project should address a workplace (current or previous) problem related to communication. What practice or process needs to be created or improved to facilitate communication at this workplace? What communication problem are you proposing to solve? I recommend that you structure it as you would a case analysis report (APA style and four required sections). Remember that this is a communication course and that every aspect of your paper should be anchored by communication principles and best practices. Please provide 5-10 references and citations. The required page length for the Final Project is five to nine pages. Include a thesis statement in the first paragraph.
This essay allows you to integrate and demonstrate what you have learned in this course. Your paper is required to be 5 to 9 pages in length and should follow the guidelines provided in the activity. Be sure to follow accepted research approaches and citation format (APA). It is required that your article routinely references advanced communication concepts and applied knowledge of a workplace problem or challenge.
Supplementing your submissions with research is encouraged in all your writing assignments. It is imperative that graduate students be able to search academically-oriented literature, sift through useful (and not so useful) information, analyze, synthesize, and report the results of their research. In addition, all intellectual contributions cited in your articles need to be properly attributed.
This means that there is no additional spacing between paragraphs or sections. Regardless of the assignment, the usage of bullets, inset numbered lists, and outlines is prohibited in course submissions. All observations must be written in the form of complete sentences. Submissions must meet the minimum page length established for each assignment. Can include sections on ideniffied problem(s), possible recomendation(s), recommended solution(s) and expected outcome(s). ***Recommended Solution(s) should be the majority of the paper.***
I’ll forward additional references to help over the next few days. It will however be key to narrow the list of stakeholders and issue(s). Adjust title of paper as needed.
