Researchers must look at topical areas as objectively as possible, examining issues from multiple perspectives, and be able to support and express differing opinions and positions.
For Unit VIII, research and write an academic essay taking the opposite position as most of the textbook materials used in this class. In other words, why might a business not institute a CSR plan or strategy and maximize shareholder return on investments (ROIs) or other benefits. If possible, include disadvantages and advantages for different positions, provide contentions with evidence to support them, and conclude with a strong position statement. If you believe it is of value, include a reference (in addition to the three minimum) on how to construct a valid argument. The paper should display an understanding of developing arguments in support of a position in a balanced approach to researching topical areas.
The paper should include at least three academically reliable sources that are peer-reviewed journal articles. The paper should be a minimum of two pages in length, not counting the title and reference pages. Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used.
