You will write a research paper centered on a physiological topic of interest to you. There are a number of angles your research can take; for example, topics may focus on a certain type of organism (kangaroo rats), a topic (thermal regulation in fish), or ecology (cold tolerance). Please talk to me if you have any questions regarding your choice of topic. The paper should be approximately five pages in length and include at least five references, two of which must be from peer-reviewed literature. Since this is a formal paper, cite your sources in the body of the paper and include a Literature Cited section at the end.
