Compare and contrast the differing ideas of the Puritan “Christian Commonwealth” and the Methodist emphasis on the salvation of individuals. First, how does each idea approach the idea of building a Christian society? What are the strengths and weaknesses of each approach? Second, which approach would you find best, and why, or would you approach the subject in a different way? (If you choose a third way, be sure to explain what it is and why you prefer it).
