including the development of the ARPANET, were proposed, nobody could
have predicted the capabilities of today’s Internet and its widespread
use. In this Discussion, you will consider the Internet of Things (IoT)
as an emerging technology that has a direct effect upon cybercrimes.
Create an initial post in which you do the following:
Evaluate the potential impact (benefits, issues, cybercrimes,
prevention, protection, etc.) that implementing the IoT along with its
technologies could have on our lives.
Consider what sort of cybercrimes would be committed in IoT, and how
could we prevent it and explain your security and privacy concerns when
dealing with such an emerging technology.
